Cynthia Rothrock plays a villian! In Fast Getaway 2 she plays Lily, a bank robber who heads a gang that pulls elaborate heists. This is actually a supporting role, the film is really a Corey Haim vehicle. He plays a former thief, Nelson Potter, who now consults banks on security. His partner Patrice is played by Sarah G. Buxton. Cynthia Rothrock is great in this film. Her acting is actually better than everyone else's in the movie. Haim pretty much goes through the motions and Leo Rossi(he plays Sam, Nelson's dad) looks like he has no idea what's going on most of the time. CR seemed like the only one putting any effort into her performance.(Well, Sarah Buxton is pretty good ,too). In case you were wondering, Yes, Cynthia Rothrock does kick ass in Fast Getaway 2. Her character, Lily, is not only a bank robber, but a martial artist. And in the film, everyone knows she can beat the crap out of them. And she does. There are only three actual fight scenes in the movie, but since it's not a martial arts movie, that's more than enough. I would have to say Fast Getaway 2 is a decent movie. It has it's funny moments and the action is passable. The real reason to watch it though, would be to see Rothrock carry a movie. If she wasn't in it, it wouldn't be half as good. CR adds a good deal of humor and is a great villian. It sounds odd, but it was nice to see CR portrayed as a sex object at times. Usually her films almost totally ignore the fact that shes a woman, and that her appeal is more than just punching and kicking. Best Fight Scene Cynthia Rothrock vs Tony Penello: Lily and Bruno have this really odd idea of foreplay. It pretty much consists of Lily beating the crap out of Bruno. It's a great playful scene. And that fact that CR is only wearing tights and a bra doesn't hurt either.
