You can tell from the title that this tape is a compilation of action scenes from martial arts films(specifically, films from Golden Harvest). Cynthia Rothrock is one of the featured perfomers, along with greats like Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee, Samo Hung, etc.(even Richard Norton!). CR also has a few interview scenes where she talks about realism in martial arts films and self defense for women, among other things.
This movie is a must see. It should be mandatory for everone who enjoys MA(martial arts) films. Rothrock fans who have only seen her American films get a glimpse of CR at the top of her form in the clips from the Hong Kong film, Above the Law. Cynthia Rothrock's fights with Karen Shepard and Yeung will leave you in awe. A clip from Shanghai Express shows up, along with a bunch of stuff from China O'Brien(which was released about the same time as this film... go figure).
But the Rothrock scenes are just the icing on the cake. The entire fillm is incredible from start to finish. Jackie Chan's fight with amazons is astounding. Samo Hung vs. Richard Norton is funny and devastating. Bruce Lee shows his stuff from Fists of Fury and Game of Death. In short, every minute of this tape is perfection. 90 minutes of pure joy.
Best Fight Scene Cynthia Rothrock vs Yeung: I refuse to attempt to convey this scene in words. I will say this. Once the scene was over, I had to stop the tape, catch my breath, and do a little Tai Chi just to calm myself down. Then I watched it again... and again.
