There's something about the CR films shot in Indonesia that have a certian charm to them. They seem to have had the lowest budgets, the acting and stories aren't really up to par with other CR films, but they're still really entertaining. Angel of Fury is no exception.

Cynthia Rothrock plays Nancy Bolan, the head of a security firm. She's hired to deliver a supercomputer(briefcase) and protect it from international terrorists. Along the way, she meets her husband, whom she thought was dead. He's also trying to stop the terrorists from getting the computer. That's really all you need to know about the plot.

The meat of the movie is the action. Angel of Fury has tons of it. The plot is really just there to link the fight scenes. Cynthia Rothrock is extremely fun to watch in this movie. She not only physically beats down bad guys, but she wins a few verbal sparring matches with a rival at the office. There are a few scenes that seem badly done though. It's embarrasing to see CR riding a dirtbike wearing an oversized helmet that's tilted to the side. And the Thai Mr T is totally out of place.

When people say Cynthia Rothrock is the queen of 'B' movies, Angel of Fury is the kind of movie they're referring to. It's obviously lowbudget, the dubbing(English dubbed over English) is off, the acting is questionable and the plot doesn't really make all that much sense. But it's still fun. This isn't the film to show someone when trying to show them why Cynthia Rothrock is an incredible action star, but if you're already a fan, you'll probaly enjoy it.

This is also one of the few films where CR has a love scene.

Best Fight Scene

Cynthia Rothrock vs Everyone. This whole movie might as well be one big fight scene because you'll probaly find yourself fast forwarding through the dialogue.
