Cynthia Rothrock will be hosting an interview show that will be aired on the Martial Arts Channel. She'll be talking to legends in martial arts and getting to know what makes them tick. It'll be like 'Inside the Actor's Studio' except with roundhouse kicks. The Martial Arts Channel can be viewed online at www.macexperience.com and you can go directly to the video player by clicking here. Its a broadband based site so if you still have a normal 56k modem, it's time to upgrade.
CR's show isn't on the schedule yet but will be soon. In the meantime, you can check out the other programs which include classic martial arts films, documentaries and even belt tests.
Congratulations to Cynthia Rothrock for earning her ranking as a 6th degree Black Belt in Tang Soo Do Tang Soo Do is a Korean marital art thats a mix of Karate and Kung Fu. Cynthia earned her belt under Grand Master Robert Kovaleski, an inductee into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
For those of you not familiar with the belt rankings in Martial Arts, Black Belt means you're great. 6th degree Black Belt means you're Cynthia Rothrock.
I was digging for info on Cyn and I found out that Beau Smith has been working on a Cynthia Rothrock comic book for a while now and if his past work is any indication, it's going to be great. Beau has worked on some of the biggest comics in the industry, including Spawn, Star Wars, Wildcat, and Parts Unknown. A little while ago he posted an update about the CR comic and how it came about, you can read it by clicking here. I'm not sure if this is the same as the Cyn that the fan club members have been seeing previews of (see, thats why you should join the fan club), but it still sounds cool.
